A NOTE FROM YOUR SENIOR REGENT
I can hardly believe it’s already February. With
just a few more months as your Senior Regent, I am excited about celebrating
the upcoming event that we have planned for this month. We are proud to
announce that on February 4th the district meeting will be held at
The Monterey Moose Lodge 876. This will be a special evening as we are also
celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Monterey Moose Lodge,
following the district meeting at 4:00pm with cocktails following at 5:00 and
then, a delicious chicken cordon-bleu dinner for only $10 at 6:00pm. Stick
around and dance to the music of our favorite San Jose DJ, Chris after the
meeting. It’s going to be an evening to remember, so please make it a point to
join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event...after all, it’s not everyday we turn 100 years old! So, please come down and
show your support. I was proud to be a part of the planning process, along with
our other committee members who have worked so hard to make this event a
memorable evening for everyone.
After an evening of all that celebrating, we
invite you to come down to the lodge for our annual Super Bowl Party February 5th
at 3:00pm...even if you’re not a football fan, that’s ok, we guarantee you’ll
have a great time eating and spending time with friends.
We had a great time at the Hookers Ball on January
21, as we danced the night away after having a wonderful dinner. February is
the month for lovers, so please join us on February 11th for our
Sweetheart Ball. Even if you don’t have a lover, that’s ok, join us anyway.
Make your reservations early so we know how many to plan for.
To all of you who joined us on Friday, January 13,
at 7:00pm for Bunco, we want to welcome you back for more fun on February 24th,
at the same time. The Snack bar will be
available at 6:00pm, with snack bar menu items one hour before Bunco begins.
Everyone has a great time and don’t forget...you could be the next big winner!
Come join us!
I would love for you to be a part of our family if
you are a member of our chapter...you could be involved with the event planning
for our chapter events. The women are always eager to invite new and fresh
ideas. Please, feel free to contact the Monterey Moose Lodge if you have a
desire to become active in the planning of any of our events and take on a
chair position of your favorite committee.
I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to call me at
899-9916. Your Senior Regent, Jerre Flynn
